Stella Lions|The Lions Foundation

Stella, together with her sister Luna, was picked up after an emergency call at a now closed Hotel Resort in Slovakia.
They were looking for shelters for a large number of lions and tigers, which were housed next to the hotel. The permit to keep the animals had not been renewed and all animals had to leave before the end of 2021.
Since lions are group animals, we paired Stella and Simba together after a short but calm introduction.
In April 2022, Stella moved with Simba to The Lions Foundation.
