Najla was bought illegally by a private individual when she was a cub.
She was rescued and temporarily housed in Kuwait Zoo. Kuwait Zoo cared for Najla until she was strong enough to move to The Lions Foundation. During the same period, Sara was also taken to Kuwait Zoo and cared for there.
In the meantime, transport crates were made and sent to Kuwait, and money was raised to shelter these two animals and to pay for the trip to The Lions Foundation.
At The Lions Foundation, these two have been introduced to each other and live in peace in their natural habitat, which these two absolutely deserve.
